Lauderdale Lakes residents were lucky to escape an aggressive armed robber who ripped off her necklace before opening fire on them, according to surveillance video captured of the crime by authorities and available public footage. Authorities need help in finding this suspect so that they may arrest or identify him for justice.
An alarming incident recently occurred in Lauderdale Lakes, Florida, wherein an aggressive armed robber left an individual traumatized but miraculously unharmed. To identify their attacker, Broward Sheriff’s Office Robbery Unit released chilling surveillance footage in hopes that public assistance could assist them in apprehending this individual.
At approximately 6 p.m. on Sunday evening, July 2, an incident of extreme horror unfolded at the RaceTrac store located at 4697 N. State Road 7 in Lauderdale Lakes. A suspect entered and made purchases before returning to his parked vehicle near a gas pump near Lauderdale Lakes.
Moments later, she pulled into the pump area behind a vehicle driven by the suspect, who brandished a firearm and demanded she empty her pockets before forcing himself inside her vehicle and forcingly ripping her chain from her neck.
Reeling from her terrifying ordeal, the brave victim followed the suspect into an adjacent residential neighborhood, where her car remained stationary despite hearing gunfire from outside. A second camera captured this dramatic encounter between the suspect and victim, whereby he abandoned his vehicle before firing several gunshots into her vehicle before abandoning.
Thank goodness both the victim and her vehicle miraculously managed to avoid injury despite an exchange of gunshots.
