Jacqueline Waller was arrested following an alleged road rage incident where she brandished a knife toward another driver, according to authorities. As confirmed by Broward County jail records after her arrest on Wednesday. Waller now stands charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
On Thursday, details about Waller’s altercation emerged during his bond court appearance. A prosecutor described the event as being driven by road rage prompted by Waller being dissatisfied with another driver’s behavior on the road.
“This was clearly an act of road rage,” the prosecutor stated. “By her own admission, she did not like how he was driving, so she pulled up in front of him and stopped. By creating such a volatile atmosphere between them, she brought on herself this road-rage situation and turned it violently against herself.”
Waller claimed a male driver exited their vehicle first and approached her; however, surveillance footage from an adjacent Ring camera disproved this claim; instead, showing Waller exiting her own car first before any aggressive or threatening behaviors from Waller emerged; only after making initial contact did Waller produce his knife, according to the prosecutor.
Although details regarding this incident remain elusive, NBC6 reported that they are waiting on more details from the Broward Sheriff’s Office regarding its location, and no one was injured as a result of the confrontation.

Waller remains in custody while investigations and court processes continue. The incident has brought awareness to the potential hazards posed by increasing tension on roads, as well as its possible outcomes should anger build up and lead to violence. Contact us for an Armed Security Guard Today!
