On Monday evening in Tarpon Springs, there was a shooting incident reported to the Tarpon Springs Police Department which resulted in one person’s death, reported at approximately 8 pm by witnesses on Starlight Cove in Tarpon Springs. Officers responded immediately upon hearing reports regarding this event.
Officers arrived to find an unconscious individual. First aid was administered before they were transported by emergency medical services to Regional Medical Center Bayonet Point, where, unfortunately, they succumbed to their injuries in hospital.
At this point, authorities have yet to publicly identify the victim of this fatal shooting incident and conduct their investigation of what led up to this tragic fatality; no arrests have yet been made in relation to this tragic tragedy.
An evening shooting on Starlight Cove has left residents alarmed, with many asking what transpired that evening. Law enforcement authorities have appealed for any witnesses or information related to this shooting to contact them as they conduct their investigation.
