Police arrested one man following an altercation at a house on West 10th Court, Hialeah, Florida, during a Santeria ritual on Wednesday evening. They reported that when verbal arguments escalated into physical altercations involving knife-wielding individuals attacking another in his 50s. When one victim’s 16-year-old son attempted to intervene, he suffered multiple lacerations to both arms during this violent confrontation.
As the knife-wielding attacker was leaving, 50-year-old Milton Cao retrieved his gun and shot and killed the attacker, ultimately saving lives.
Cao was arrested and charged with second-degree murder and possessing firearms as an accused felon following an incident during a Santeria ritual based on Afro-Cuban traditions.
