Jackson Julian Sagesse, 21, was charged with one count of premeditated murder and one count of attempted felony murder.
Sunrise Police report that an early Wednesday morning stabbing incident took place at 3000 Northwest 130th Avenue near The Retreat Sawgrass Village and across from Amerant Bank Arena.
Police reported that 27-year-old Hailey Hosford, an entrepreneur and stylist from Florida, was hiding in her black Mercedes when Sagesse approached.
Sunrise Police review the footage of Hosford trying to close her vehicle door when Sagesse violently forced open and began stabbing her repeatedly.
Police report that Hosford was stabbed multiple times in her throat; one male companion of Hosford managed to survive and call for assistance before becoming incapacitated himself.
New documents from the Broward County Sheriff’s Office revealed that after Sagesse was arrested, he told officers, “I just killed someone and fled. Contact us for Personal Bodyguard Services Today!
