Man Arrested for Stabbing Two People in Deerfield Beach

A 51-year-old man, Thelson Smith, was arrested early Sunday in Deerfield Beach after allegedly stabbing two people. The incident occurred around 3:30 a.m. in the 200 block of Southwest 1st Terrace, where Broward Sheriff’s Office (BSO) deputies responded to a report of a stabbing.

Upon arriving at the scene, deputies found two victims with stab wounds. Both victims were immediately transported to the hospital for medical treatment, though their conditions and identities were not disclosed.

After the stabbing, BSO deputies located Smith and took him into custody. He is facing two charges of attempted murder in connection with the attack. However, no additional details about the motive behind the stabbing or the relationship between Smith and the victims have been released.

The investigation is ongoing, and authorities are continuing to gather information about the circumstances surrounding the stabbing. Smith’s arrest brings a swift resolution to the case, but the identities and conditions of the victims remain a key focus of the investigation. Contact us for cargo escort security services Today!
