A 51-year-old man, Thelson Smith, was arrested early Sunday in Deerfield Beach after allegedly stabbing two people. The incident occurred around 3:30 a.m. in the 200 block of Southwest 1st Terrace, where Broward Sheriff’s Office (BSO) deputies responded to a report of a stabbing.
Upon arriving at the scene, deputies found two victims with stab wounds. Both victims were immediately transported to the hospital for medical treatment, though their conditions and identities were not disclosed.
