On Sunday afternoon, deputies announced the arrest of the father of a 4-year-old girl whose mother had been found deceased in Tamarac. An Amber Alert had been issued for both parties involved.
Nathan Gingles, 43, was charged with violating an injunction that prohibits contact between himself and the mother and child.
According to the Broward Sheriff’s Office, Mary Gingles, 34 years old, was found deceased after suffering gunshot wounds at home and died due to them.
BSO announced that an incident began at 5700 Plum Bay Parkway after deputies received reports of gunfire in that location.
Once deputies arrived at the scene, they discovered a man suffering from gunshot wounds who was later declared deceased.

Family members identified Andrew Ferrin as being the deceased. A relative spoke with NBC6 regarding this tragedy.
