Learjet Crash in Philadelphia Injures 22, 5 Remain Hospitalized

Philadelphia Mayor Cherelle Parker confirmed on Sunday that five people injured from a Learjet crash that took place earlier in a busy neighborhood remain hospitalized; three of those are currently critical. Seven people aboard were killed in this tragedy when the jet went down, prompting its pilot to crash land immediately.

22 individuals were injured, with five still receiving medical care. The incident caused significant property damage – at least 11 homes were severely impacted, as well as some businesses nearby – with emergency responders working tirelessly to assist those injured and secure the area.

Mayor Parker shared her city’s collective sorrow over this tragedy, noting that their citizens still mourn those killed in the collision and offering thoughts and prayers to all affected families.
