On September 19th in Glendale, an Arizona State University student allegedly attacked another with two knife cuts during class, apparently as part of an apparent random act. Maricopa County authorities charged Kaci Lenise-Charlie Sloan, 19, with first-degree attempted murder, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, and disorderly conduct with a weapon related to her attack against student Mara Daffron.

Daffron’s neighbors created a GoFundMe page for her and reported she was stabbed several times; however, thankfully she is making great strides to recovery and is on her way back. Our community wants to come together in support of Mara Daffron during this challenging time. These funds will go toward any needs the family may have, states a GoFundMe page called Support Mara Daffron’s Recovery Journey”. We know she will emerge stronger than ever from this inconceivable attack!

Over 13 witnesses present during the attack, including a professor, relayed it to police who wrote in their probable cause affidavit that the stabbing occurred without any provocation or words exchanged between participants.” Fox News Digital obtained this document.
