Hialeah police reported a fatal shooting following an incident wherein one individual attacked two family members during a disagreement, stabbing both father and son repeatedly during an altercation that ended violently at a residence there.
Wednesday night at a home on West 10th Court near 40th Place was where this incident unfolded. A verbal argument quickly escalated into one individual armed with a knife attacking one in his 50s; witnessing his father being assaulted, 16-year-old son intervened to defend his dad, suffering multiple cuts while trying to defend him.
As Milton Cao, 50-years old and living within the home, attempted to flee, another person retrieved a firearm and shot at the attacker resulting in his instantaneous demise.

Authorities arrested Cao on suspicion of second-degree murder and possessing firearms by an incarcerated individual. Although police have provided little details about what led up to this incident, including who knew who before any scuffle took place or any initial dispute between parties involved, no additional details regarding what transpired have been released by authorities.
Cao’s actions remain under investigation as officials determine if they were justified and whether further legal ramifications will follow from his actions. Contact us for Executive Security Protection Services Today!
