Miami Gardens police responded to reports of gunfire around 6 pm Wednesday on Northwest 192nd Street near 4000 Northwest Boulevard and responded.
At arrival, police discovered a man suffering from gunshot wounds. Miami-Dade Fire Rescue then transported the victim via helicopter to a local hospital, where his current condition remains unknown.
Authorities identified the suspect as being related to the victim and quickly apprehended him after fleeing from the scene.
