Two Gunshot Victims Found After Shooting in Miami Area

At around 9:15 p.m. on December 22nd 2024, Miami-Dade Sheriff’s Office officers responded to a ShotSpotter alert near Southwest 265th Street and 138th Court in Miami Gardens and found evidence of gunfire such as spent shell casings and blood near Southwest 265th Street; no victims could immediately be located at this scene.

Just 30 minutes later, two gunshot victims arrived at a Wawa gas station near Southwest 112th Avenue and 248th Street in Princeton for medical care following their earlier encounter with gunfire. These individuals had been injured in a previous incident that required shooting; these individuals had also been transported directly to an area hospital for further care.

Detectives have now begun an investigation of the circumstances surrounding this shooting incident, working to ascertain both its perpetrator and motivations for carrying it out. While all victims have been hospitalized following this event, authorities have not released specific details regarding their health conditions or outcomes.
