2 Dead in NW Miami-Dade Shootings, Police Investigating

Police in NW Miami-Dade County on Sunday morning are currently conducting two separate fatal shooting incidents that took place within miles of each other and only hours apart, all within just over one mile.

At around 1 a.m. near 8200 block NW Miami Court, police found a man suffering gunshot wounds who was transported to Jackson Memorial Hospital’s Ryder Trauma Center but later passed away, as reported by authorities.

At approximately 5:20 a.m. near 1000 NW 79 Street, Miami-Dade Fire Rescue declared one man deceased at the scene, according to police reports.

Detectives reported shortly after discovering this discovery, another individual arrived at Hialeah Hospital suffering apparent gunshot wounds before being transported to Ryder Trauma Center where their condition is described as stable.

There’s still no clear understanding if these two shooting incidents are linked, since neither police force has identified possible suspects for either case.The Miami-Dade Police Department’s Homicide Bureau is investigating both shootings.
