Tamarac Tragedy: Mother Killed, Father Arrested After Amber Alert

Deputies said on Sunday afternoon, after an Amber Alert was issued for his 4-year-old girl and their mother was discovered deceased in Tamarac, they arrested both parties involved and issued warrants for arrests against both.

Nathan Gingles, 43 years old and father to one-year-old Isabel Gingles, was charged with violating an injunction which ordered that no contact be had between himself and the mother/child pair.

Broward Sheriff’s Office reported that both mother and daughter have been found safe; however, Mary Gingles (34), was later discovered deceased at her residence after suffering gunshot injuries from one of these encounters.

BSO stated the incident began at the 5700 block of Plum Bay Parkway when deputies received reports of gunfire in that location.

As soon as deputies arrived at the scene, they discovered a victim suffering from gunshot wounds who was later declared deceased.

Family members identified Andrew Ferrin as their loved one who passed away, speaking with NBC6 about him.

Ferrin’s uncle described their situation as extraordinarily challenging and inconceivable: A woman knocking on doors throughout their neighbourhood approached my nephew, who happened to be home at that moment—who opened one up for her! Contact us for HOSPITAL SECURITY SERVICES Today!
