Hialeah, Florida–On Wednesday evening at 10:30 pm in the 3900 block of West 10th Court, there was a shooting which resulted in one fatality and two injuries from what appears to have started as a “heated dispute.” Hialeah police arrived after receiving reports of gunfire. According to Hialeah Police Spokesperson Jose Torres, during this confrontation, gunfire erupted between the individuals involved.
Yeika Castro described the chaotic moment to Hannah Yechivi from Local 10. She heard a gunshot, opened her door, and saw someone running from the scene before seeing a body lying on the ground outside. Castro believes it may have been someone young fleeing. Authorities are currently conducting their investigation of this incident as well as looking into any details regarding those involved and any potential suspects.
