An 18-year-old male victim is dead and his suspected attacker is still at large after an altercation at a park in Naranja escalated on Monday evening.
Miami-Dade Sheriff’s deputies responded to the park near Southwest 141st Avenue and 264th Street shortly before 7 p.m. today.
Authorities reported that an 18-year-old male victim and the subject engaged in an argument when the latter pulled out a firearm and shot the victim.
As deputies arrived, the victim was found lying on the ground suffering from what appeared to be an apparent gunshot wound and airlifted directly to a local hospital in critical condition.
Flavio Alejandro Morales passed away at the hospital.

Authorities noted Morales was engaged in sports when he became embroiled in a heated verbal exchange with an individual suspected of wielding firearms against him and shooting him. Contact us for Gestion des incidents today
