A tragic car crash in Miami Gardens claimed five lives this month, including four children and their grandmother. It happened on February 8 at Northwest 170th Street and 37th Avenue when a white Nissan Altima carrying five children and three adults was rear-ended by a black Kia Sorrento before colliding with a silver Cadillac Escalade.
Rosa Jones, 51-year-old Rosa’s grandmother and three of the children – Azariah McCall (8), Ireanna Johnson (10), Kamari Graham, who was celebrating his 10th birthday when involved in the collision and 13-year-old Ka’Myra Graham were all killed; Ka’Myra suffered severe brain damage and later succumbed; family friends later confirmed to NBC6 that Ka’Myra Graham also succumbed, making five fatalities from this accident total.
Donika Johnson and Ariel Johnson were also injured and hospitalised following the crash, as was recorded by surveillance video from the scene showing the black Kia Sorrento rear-ending the Altima and creating the deadly chain of events.

Community members have been left shocked and grieving after this tragic event. Investigators are currently conducting their probe to ascertain what caused this accident while family members mourn those lost.
